PMC Silver & Copper Jewelry Workshop
4-weeks, Thursday Nights May 13, 2010 - June 3, 2010
Adult Class Age 16 and up 7:30pm – 9:30pm – Cost $40
In this class you will learn the amazing art of working with precious metal clay. Students will be introduced to working with and manipulating the clay to make different jewelry projects. They are then fired in a kiln, the clay binder burns away leaving behind 99% pure silver. Students will also learn to polish and patina their projects to bring out their full beauty. Supply & Firing fee charges paid to instructor in class and can vary from $45-$80 depending on the jewelry you decide to make and the findings that you require. The instructor will supply all tools needed.


Art for Children
Landscapes and Scenery, Ages 7-12
How do artists make their seascapes look real? How do artists make landscapes and cityscapes look like they are going back into space? This a fun art class where students will learn about atmospheric and linear perspective. By using line, shape, color, value and texture students will create the illusion of compositional space. A variety of painting and drawing materials will be used to create projects that are fun and unique!

Draw What You See For Teens Ages 13-17
Learn to draw what you see more realistically in a fun and relaxing atmosphere using still life sets up and photographs. Explore composition principles, proportions and perspective through a variety of drawing exercises and projects. All ability levels welcome.

Drawing and Composition For Adults 18-Seniors
Learn to draw what you see more realistically through a variety of drawing exercises in a relaxed atmosphere. An emphasis will be placed on learning to render proportions and manipulating the compositional space through the understanding and application of the art elements and principles of design. This is a great opportunity for adults/seniors to improve their drawing skills which are necessary for all other art forms- especially painting. All ability levels welcome! Open Drawing and Painting Forum for Adults 18-Seniors
Each Tuesday morning a still life will be set up for you to enjoy and receive further instruction to improve your drawing and painting skills in a relaxed but motivational atmosphere. You may also bring your own photographic sources to recreate artworks in art materials of your choice. If you are not confident with your drawing and/or painting ability it is suggested that you take Drawing and Composition and All About Color before you join us in the Open D&P Forum. You bring all your own art supplies.
You pay for 5 classes $45.00 we teach six and you are welcome to attend all.

An Introduction to Watercolor for Adults 18 – Seniors
Learn how to use watercolor paints, paper and brushes in a fun yet knowledgeable atmosphere. Work through different watercolor techniques and exercises to learn how to create images and express your ideas in this beautiful yet challenging medium. We suggest that you take Drawing and Composition 1 before this watercolor class, but it is not mandatory if you are confident with your drawing ability.
