Morning session campers try the pottery wheel & learn to sculpt clay projects.
Afternoons may include designing fused glass, mosaic or painting pottery.
2nd grade and older
10-12:30, 1:30-4:00 or 10-4

SUMMER ART CAMP 2010
Morning session campers will learn to make cups, bowls and small vases on the pottery wheel and sculpt projects from clay ranging from dogs, turtles, mugs, bowls & bird houses. Projects will vary each session based on that week’s theme. In addition to learning to throw, students will learn to slip & score, work with coils, slabs and pinch pot construction techniques.

Afternoon session campers learn the art of kiln fused glass and mosaics to make bowls, sun catchers, picture frames, trivets, jewelry and more. Projects will vary each session based on that week’s theme. Children will learn to safely cut glass and arrange it to make different projects they’ll cherish for years to come.
