Scout Troops

From Pottery Painting to Glass Fusing to Clay Badges, we offer a wide variety of activities for Girl and Boy Scout Troops of all ages to enjoy!

Cadets and Seniors, come get on your path to your:

CERAMIC and CLAY, ARTISTIC CRAFTS, or VISUAL ARTS BADGE

You will come and work with a real ceramics artist who will take you through the whole process and teach you different techniques. You will also be able to interview our artists and find out more about their craft.

Brownies, come and earn your:

HOBBIES BADGE

While you paint you will learn all about the pottery process from painting to glazing to firing! We will also explore different hobbies and talk about some of yours.

You can earn your Hobbies / Try It's Badge after this event. 

*A $50 deposit is required for all Brownies, Cadets, and Seniors

Scout Ornament Making Party

• Available August thru December
• 1 Hour Class
• $16 per Scout

Scouts will be able to make and paint 3 cookie cutter ornaments out of clay!
Great for Holiday themed parties!

Scout Painting Party

• 1 Hour 30 Minute Class
• $16 to $25 per Scout

There is an endless amount of great things for your Scouts to paint!

Scout Glass Fusing Party

• 1 Hour 30 Minute Class
• $22 to $27 per Scout

This is a great party if you are looking to do something a little different!
We offer options in Glass Jewelry, Suncatchers and dishes!
For children eight and older.

Ceramic Clay Badge Class

• 1 Hour 30 Minute Class
• $22-$28 per Scout

Choice of Hand Building or Pottery Wheel

Scouts will learn to use pinch pots and coils to make and paint an animal out of clay. They will also get a tour of our glazing and kiln area - $22/child. Children could also make a wheel-thrown ice cream bowl with the assistance of our professional instructors on the potter’s wheel - $6 additional*.

*The pottery wheel is for children 6 years and older. Clay Combo Parties (sculpting with the pottery wheel option) are 2 hours long, and can accommodate no more than 20 children.
